First of all, the Lord Himself instructed Moses to add spices and fragrances to the sacred anointing oil to be used to anoint Aaron, his sons and the tent of meeting in the wilderness. Then, in tracing fragrance through the Bible, we see the Lord require the priests to burn fragrant incense continually in the Holy Place. In Psalm 45 we read that garments of THE ANOINTED are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia—scholars believe this to represent none other than Jesus Himself.
Perhaps the most significant references to fragrance however, are found in 2 Corinthians 2:14, “But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.” Then in verse 16, “To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.”

How soon will I get my order?We generally ship the following business day after receipt of your order from the Houston, TX metro area via USPS Mail (with the exception of Christian and US holidays). US locations should receive their order within 3-5 business days, Canada and Mexico locations in 6-10 business days, and other international locations in 6-14 days.
Where did we get the inspiration for our fragrances?All our fragrances are Biblically based - please click here to be redirected to the About Anointing Oils page for further information about each fragrance and where they are found in Scripture.
Does the oil come from Israel?No, the very first few times anointing oil was used, it was used outside of Israel. The first was when Jacob used it in Genesis 28:18. The second time was when Moses made fragranced oil under the direction of the Lord in order to anoint the Tabernacle in the Wilderness as well as Aaron and his sons to establish the priest hood.
Has this oil been blessed?Yes. Our prayer team makes each batch and blesses it. We particularly pray that God’s kingdom will be advanced and that He alone gets the glory for answered prayers. In addition to our blessing, many people choose to have it blessed again by their own clergy. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable - the more prayer and blessing, the better!
What is the story of anointing oil?Oil is first used in Genesis 28:18 when the Patriarch Jacob used it to pour over the stone he had used as a pillow then set up as a pillar to the Lord. The Hebrew word “anoint” actually means “to rub or to smear.”
In the Old Testament, it was most often used as a setting apart of people or objects for the exclusive advancement of the kingdom of God. Aaron and his sons, King Saul, King David and others were anointed with oil. The tent of meeting and all its vessels were anointed under the direction of God Himself. This anointing symbolize their empowerment by the Holy Spirit to fulfill a special assignment by God. It reaches completeness in Jesus, the Messiah, or Anointed One set apart to bring salvation to all people.
