Frequently Asked Questions1. How soon will I get my order? We generally ship within 24-48 hours however how long it takes to get to you depends on what type of shipping you choose and how far you are from us. Normally you can count on 3-5 business days after it leaves our warehouse to addresses in the contiguous U.S. 2. Do we make our oil according to the formula in Ex 30:23-24? No, we don’t for good reason. In verse 33 of that same chapter it says: “Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts it on an outsider, shall be cut off from his people.” We realize there are many interpretations of this verse, but we observe that prohibition. 3. Where did we get the inspiration for our fragrances? All our fragrances are Biblically based and Scripturally correct. Please click here for further information. 4. Does the oil come from Israel? No, the very first few times anointing oil was used, it was used outside of Israel. The first was when Jacob used it in Gen. 28:18. The 2nd time was when Moses made fragranced oil under the direction of the Lord in order to anoint the Tabernacle in the Wilderness as well as Aaron and his sons to establish the priesthood. We bless God because the power is in His anointing, not the source of the oil. 5. Are the oils safe for skin? Yes. All of our oils have been tested & approved for use on skin. This does not mean someone could not have an allergic reaction – after all, people can be allergic to anything. If there is any problem, please alert us & we can have our fragrance chemist speak to your doctor right away. 6. Has this oil been blessed? Yes. Our prayer team makes each batch and blesses it. We particularly pray that God’s kingdom will be advanced and that He alone gets the glory for answered prayers. In addition to our blessing, many people choose to have it blessed again by their own clergy. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. 7. Do we give discounts to churches or for large quantity purchases? We primarily sell our products through Christian Bookstores & encourage all customers to find our oils at their local store. However, if your local store does not carry Oil of Gladness, we will be happy to serve you at retail prices. We do not offer discounts off regular retail prices. |
